It was a fine refreshing morning in the lap of nature with clouds floating over the mountains in front of our cottage. The Kosi River flowing at the foothills made the most melodious song of nature. That’s one of the normal days at Corbett hideaway, near Ramnagar. We stayed in the resort in last week of August 2013. This was our first visit to Jim Corbett national park and we luckily got to stay in one of the finest resorts, that too in a river front- cottage which proved to be the icing-on-cake. It is a wonderfully managed resort with extremely courteous staff and one of the finest chefs. One fine morning my husband literally got into the kitchen to learn the famous’poha’-a north Indian breakfast from the chef. We enjoyed the most delicious meals during our stay. The Corbett national park was closed but we never missed it due to the luxurious stay in the lush green resort.
