The beauty of NarimanPoint, Mumbai



Perhaps the best and one of the endpoints of Marine Drive is Nariman Point. Watching 'the sunset' at Nariman Point is one of the 'must do' while one is in Mumbai. For nature lovers, once again you can see the sun descending gracefully into sea and the varied colors of the sky thereafter. One can steal his glance every now and then at the Mumbai-skyline, at one corner.

My friend and I just sat there with cool breeze refreshing our beings till the skyline lit-up and made a captivating view to eyes.

It was an interesting crowd there. One person had come with his armchair to enjoy nature. Another family came with a bed sheet and enjoyed a nice picnic there. Watching couples, holding hands, resting on each other’s shoulders  and deeply in love made a loving view everywhere. Though it is hot till the sun goes down but the cool breeze just takes care of you. A worthwhile visit.....

Mission accomplished..

Everyone was very busy with the preparations. It was the farewell party for twelfth class. Being the head girl of the school she was supposed to do the anchoring, which meant tremendous responsibility. Everyone in eleventh class was supposed to stay in the school till evening and even come the next day, which was Sunday. The main hall had to be decorated, gifts had to be packed and all the programs had to be prepared well. She had to take care of all these things with the help of other girls. The head boy Aram and his team were supposed to take care of the catering and the related arrangements. The best part about coming to school on holidays was, one could come in their most desirable clothes. Rest whole year the school was very particular about the school-dress. “The visit of a four year old to nainital zoo”

Today I fulfilled my long awaited desire of visiting a zoo with my four yearold child. It happened in the beautiful ambience of Nainital. Visiting a place like Nainital always works wonders on me. The thing that scores best in this place is the’lovely misty weather’. I was really apprehensive when I had checked the weather forecast before reaching here. It predicted all rainy days , which I felt would spoil my trip. But it turned otherwise. In the past three days , the weather has been really unpredictable , but pleasant. I am sure ,sitting among the floating clouds can really soothe anyone,s psyche. Today morning it rained heavily for many hours.
